The Romanian Society of Bioinformatics (RSBI) organizes the 2023 RoBioinfo Conference, Bucharest, 11th-13th May 2023.
This year’s agenda will be divided between two equally important topics: human genomics and biodiversity-microbiome in the context of the opportunities and challenges of data federation.
The RoBioinfo 2023 Conference received funding through the Bilateral Fund associated with the EEA and Norwegian Grants 2014-2021, a program operated in Romania by the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI).
Conference venue: Institute of Cellular Biology and Pathology "Nicolae Simionescu".

Abstract Submission
- Abstracts are accepted on human genomics, microbiome and data federation.
- Abstract submission by 15th April (end of the day) on Abstract submission form.
- Acceptance notifications will be sent to selected authors by 20th April, 2023.
- Accepted abstracts will be included in a conference report.
The presentation at the conference (in-person) is the condition for the publication of the abstract in the conference report. Authors might be required to send a revised abstract.

This conference is part of The Bioinformatics Capacity Building - Human Genomics, a project organised by Romanian Bioinformatics Society in collaboration with ELIXIR Norway and funded through the Bilateral Fund associated with the EEA and Norwegian Grants 2014-2021.
The Romanian Bioinformatics Society is part of the Romanian Bioinformatics Cluster (Clusterul Român de Bioinformatică; CRB), an entity founded by 17 Romanian universities. CRB is working towards a national infrastructure for data, training and tools. CRB is committed to the interoperability with the European life science infrastructure for biological information (ELIXIR).
